Russel's Eagle Project
Note: I also posted this on the Troop 82's page.
The Driggs First Ward and the Victor First Ward Scouts combined to help Russel Murdock finish his Eagle Project last Tuesday. It was a very good turnout. Russel is a fine young man and probably one of the best, if not the best, Patrol Leaders that I ever had. I am really happy he is getting his Eagle.
Those who came from our troop were: Antonio, Kaleb, Zach, Andrew, Chase, Josh and Bridger. Brad, Andrew, Aaron and myself were the leaders.
Driggs first ward: Russel Murdock, Tom, Scott, Reese, Jason, Seth, Nathan, Brennan and a couple kids I don't know their names. Sorry guys. Leaders are Cory and George as well as Nate who would not get in the picture.
Probably one of the funnest and I would say easiest Eagle projects because we had so many. We were mainly loading a truck with boards after taking apart a couple sheds. We pulled nails out and then hauled the wood over a couple fences to the truck. As there were so many of us it was almost like an assembly line. The wood was to be donated to the museum so they can use it to make an antique building if I understood it right. The shed came from his Grandpa Randy's farm. Randy was a great man and friend who passed away a few years ago.
Thanks for allowing us to participate and I am very grateful Russel is finishing his project. I fully endorse him as an Eagle Scout.
